Airtel Started Emergency Alert Service 

Bharti Airtel has been providing ‘an emergency alert service’ providing the customers to send alert SMS up to 10 mobile numbers. Airtel customers can make a call to their 10 closed loved ones surrounding to their geographical location promoting quick help.

Airtel provides the subscribers with ‘SAFE’ SMS to a group of 10 family members and friends to provide information about when they are alone, during a natural calamity or sort of disaster with a click.

An ‘Emergency alert service’ is being provided charging Rs 30 for 30 days and can be with minimum balance. For emergency alert services the subscriber can make call of 55100 and the subscriber will get voice and SMS alerts along with location details. It can also be send by typing HELP in message box and sending to 55100  which is then transferred to all 10 numbers.
