This all new lightweight road bike called ‘Audi Sport Racing Bike’ at its showroom in Shibuya, Tokyo. What is very special is its frame. Frame of the Audi Sport Racing Bike is made from carbon fibre. Accordint to company the cycle’s carbon frame weigh a fairly impressive 790g only.
Audi Sport Racing Bike using similar ballpark to other lightweight carbon frames. Main rivals are Trek Emonda SLR and featherweight Merida Scultura 9000 bikes launched last week. 5.8kg is the total weight of the bike. T1000 carbon fibre is used by Audi for this cycle.
Audi Sport Racing Bike is created by Japan’s Toray Industries Inc. T1000 is the material said to be the same that used in Audi’s race cars. The wheels said to be the Lightweight Meilensteins carbon clinchers. Groupset used is the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2.
