Aurelio – First Filipino Made Supercar as Poor Man’s Ferrari

Have you ever heard about the “Aurelio” ? This is the First Filipino Made Super car which is now known as Poor Man’s Ferrari. Super cars used to be manufactured by Italians – Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Pagani Zonda – or Germany (Porsche) or even Sweden (Koenigsegg).

Aurelio is a Filipino company made up of siblings Kevin, 22 and Bryan Factor, 25, and Brendan Aurelio, 37. They made the Aurelio home-grown supercar which will definitely  boost to local automotive manufacturing in the country.

On external the car assures the definite look of super car and you may fee it like a modified Ferrari 458 Italia. You can see beautiful front fascia and the contours, scissor doors, low-slung ground clearance, and well-defined sharp edges and a Lamborghini Aventador inspired rear. 

Aurelio comes in 2 engine options. There is a  Honda B16A V-TEC engine which is the same used in  in the old Honda Civic Si. The other 2.0 litre Mitsubishi 4G63T turbocharged engine makes  510 horses and can reach 290km/h.

Aurelio is also light weight as this is made with materials like carbon fiber and Fiberglass. You can see stylish 18-inch Rota wheels. This super car packed with a sidepod cabin which is made with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and carbon fiber firewall.

According to Factor Aurelio Automobile, the car costs about P1.6 million and if this available in India, it may cost Rs 22 lakh. Company plans to make 10 units a year.
