Bajaj has just launched the CT100B for Rs 30990 ( ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. This is said to be “India’s Cheapest Bike”. Bajaj CT100B is a lower variant of CT100 and this comes with an improved version of CT100’s engine. This is a more utilitarian version of the CT100 which Rs 4,100 less than the top-spec bike and loses out on some of the frills.
Bajaj CT100B will be available in four colours to choose. On external the bike looks good and gets plain circular headlight instead of the bikini fairing. There is a comfortable flatter seat like in the Bajaj Boxer and spoke wheels.
At rear, the grab rail is powder coated and this looks very basic. The bike mainly made to lure used-bike buyers. Engine used in this bike is the same 99cc unit which makes 8.1 BHP @ 7500 rpm power and 8.05 NM @ 4500 rpm torque on ride. This is mated to 4 Speed Constant Mesh gears for smooth ride.
Overall this is a low spec bike but the mileage is really great and company claims 99.1 kilometre per litre. Bajaj also gives a two-year warranty on CT 100B. This is a good option if you are searching for a new bike around Rs 30000. So you can own a new bike with the price of a second hand bike.
