Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS is almost ready to start the race in India streets. The AS in the name stand for Adventure Sport. Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS on external looks sexy and powerful with the redesigned half fairing. This is a well defined move by Bajaj to strengthen its 200 cc lineup. Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS expected to be join with the existing 200 NS and the soon to be launched 200SS. Most probably this bike will replace the Bajaj’s current Pulsar 220 F.
Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS even though fully ready, no conformed date for Indian Launch. Power pack of this machine is the same engine and internals as the Pulsar 200 NS. It will be priced between the Pulsar 200 NS and the 200 SS. Technically it is powered by 199.5 cc Triple Spark, SOHC, 4-valve engine with Liquid Cooling feature.
Engine can churns out approx 23.17 Bhp @ 9500 rpm power and 18.3 Nm @ 8000 rpm torque on ride. It also offers 72 mm bore, 49 mm stroke. Engine mated to 6 Speed gears transmission. Safety side, there is 280mm Disc in front and 230mm Disc at rear (Expected).
Suspension used in this bike is a 37mm Telescopic Front Fork with Antifriction Bush and Nitrox Mono Shock Absorber with piggy back gas canister in rear (Expected).
