The much awaited Bajaj Qute (RE60) Quadricycle Unveiled and it is priced at $2,000. When this comes to India, it may cost Rs 1.32 lakh Approx. Bajaj Qute (RE60) is a well known Quadricycle and it will not be on sale in India due to some regulations issue ( still awaiting approval from the Supreme Court). The vehicle started to export to various foreign markets.
Bajaj Qute (RE60) Quadricycle powered by a 216cc, water-cooled, four-valve triple Spark petrol engine. This engine features closed loop fuel injection and it is mated to a five-speed transmission for smooth ride. Engine of this bike measures 13.5PS power at 5,500rpm and 19.6Nm torque at 4,000rpm.
Bajaj Qute can reach 70kmph top speed. The vehicle meets Euro 3 norms and assures 36kpl mileage. This can be called as a car but the safety and comfort aspect is not much good as other small cars available in India. Bajaj Qute is economic friendly and offers low CO2 emissions of 66g/km.
Bajaj Qute features turning radius of 3.5m and this is highly .beneficial while riding in city traffic. The vehicle supports carrying capacity of 400kg. There is option to accommodate four passengers up a 27 per cent gradient. This is the first Indian manufactured quadricycle to meet the European Quadricycle norms.
Bajaj Qute gets European WVTA (Whole Vehicle Type Approval) certification by RDW Netherlands. This will go on sales in 16 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
