General Motors India has unveiled 2 new vehicles in India with appealing looks and good technical specifications. These include one SUV and One MPV named as Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV and Chevrolet Spin MPV respectively.
Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is a powerful rival to the Grand Cherokee, X5 and the ML-Class. Earlier company showcased this at the auto expo 2014. Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV Looks aggressive from exterior with its Projector Headlights, fog head lamp, LED rear lamp and Electric adjustable side mirrors with LED turn signal lights.
Interior features Multi-function steering wheel with cruise control, Automatic air conditioning system. For safety it is equipped with Double SRS airbags and safety belts, HDC and HSA Powering the SUV will be a 2.5 Duramax Diesel engine which can churns out 350 nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. Engine mated with mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Another engine option is the 2.8 Duramax Diesel delivers 132 kilowatts and 470 nm torque at 2,000 rpm. It is mated to 5-speed manual transmission or 6-speed Active Select automatic transmission based on variant selection.
Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV Price in India: NA
Chevrolet Spin MPV will come in petrol and diesel models. This is a perfect multi utility vehicle which looks like the Toyota Innova from side view. Chevrolet Spin MPV Diesel model may cost around 9 Lakh or more. The earlier launched entry-level MPV – Chevrolet Enjoy – from General Motors was a failure. Now, Chevrolet Spin MPV try its luck in the fast growing multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment.
Chevrolet Spin MPV need to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio and the upcoming Renault Lodgy upon its launch. Chevrolet Spin MPV is measuring larger than the Enjoy and will come with three rows of seats. The vehicle measures 4,360 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,656 mm in height.
Chevrolet Spin MPV is also larger than the Ertiga but slightly smaller than the Mobilio. Indian spec model may packed with a 1.3-litre diesel mill in 90PS engine. Chevrolet Spin MPV shares the same platform as the Beat. It will be a stretched out one just like the Mobilio is to the Brio.
