They have 104 stores till March 2014 and serves Botswana, South Africa, Namibia etc. Key people of the company are  Ramachandran Ottapathu and (CEO) and Festus Mogae (Chairman). Main products of company are  Cash & Carry,Hardware store, Convenience store, Discount store, Supermarket, Hypermarket/Supercenter/Superstore etc.

Ramachandran (Ram) Ottapathu is the CEO of the Choppies Group. The CEO is from India, Kerala. He is a chartered accountant, who graduated from the University of Calicut in India. He joined the Choppies Group in 1992. His first job was some part time accounting work in India. After graduation he started working on the job to get up in career. Under his guidance Choppies won the Transformational Business Award at the 2014 Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship.
