Operating system and Hardware

Samsung Galaxy E7 and HTC Desire 826 are two android smartphones compares frequently.. Samsung Galaxy E7 is packed with Android v4.4.4 (KitKat)OS while HTC Desire 826 is coming with Android v5.0.1 (Lollipop) OS. In hardware, Samsung used MSM8916 Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset in Galaxy E7, which has integrated 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 306 GPU.

The HTC Desire 826 is more powerful and uses higher model chipset MSM8939 Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. It has integrated Octa core processor (Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) and Adreno 405 GPU. Both phones are coming with 2GB DDR3 RAM for processor support and data acceleration. In our view, HTC Desire 826 has more hardware strength comparing to Samsung Galaxy E7.

Camera and Storage

Both phones are coming with 13MP rear camera. Samsung offering 5MP front camera for selfie lovers while HTC used 4MP ultra pixel front camera with 1/3” sensor size and 2µm pixel size. So it can shoot 1080p@30fps videos in front camera. Both phones rear cameras are coming with LED flash, autofocus, panorama, HDR, face detection and video calling. HTC only offering simultaneous HD video and image recording.

In storage side, Galaxy E7 and Desire 826 has 16GB built-in storage. Both phones are coming with microSD card slot. Samsung offering up to 64GB microSD card support while HTC offering 128GB card support.

Mobile network and other connectivity

Samsung Galaxy E7 is 3G enabled phone but HTC Desire 826 will support 4G LTE network. Both phones are coming with W-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and microUSB connectivity.

Display and battery

Samsung used 5.5 inches HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions and 267 ppi pixel density. HTC phone has 5.5 inches Full HD IPS capacitive touch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions and 401 ppi pixel density. Galaxy E7 is packed with 2950 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery but HTC has only 2600 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery capacity.
