Google plans to introduce “TEZ” a Unified Payments Interface (UPI) based digital payment service. Our Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will launch this digital payment service on Monday, 18 September. Here is complete information about Google Tez. 

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is single window mobile payment system introduced by National Payment Corporation of India ( NPCI ). It allows you to make payments directly from your bank accounts to different merchants without entering the full details of the cards or net banking. UPI is used as a unique identifier to make your transformation of money and making payments using the Immediate Payment Services (IMPS).

The technology giant Google is going to implement the online payment service UPI. The payment service, called Google ‘Tez’, will offer payment options beyond the existing ones like Google Wallet or Android Pay. Google Tez is not only include Unified Payment Interface but also other consumer payment services including Paytm and MobiKwik.

Either Google or other global companies like Amazon, Facebook and Uber are looking to implement Unified Payment Interface (UPI) on their platforms. The other big player to join India’s growing digital payment market is Facebook-owned WhatsApp.
