Harley-Davidson Street 500 and Street 750
Harley-Davidson unveiled the most awaited Indian made bikes Harley-Davidson Street 500 and Street 750. This two cruiser bikes unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. Before several months itself the two bikes have been spotted testing in several parts of India. These new bike models will launch in the Indian market during the 2014 Delhi auto expo.
Engine Performance and Mileage
The American two wheeler manufacturer made both these bikes packed with liquid cooled V-twin Revolution X engine. The engine will be perfect to fit with the Indian climate changes. Figures regarding the power and torque of engine is not confirmed. We hope the Harley-Davidson Street 500 will produce 42bhp power and the Street 750 may offer 55bhp too.
Expected Price For Street 500 and Street 750
The exact price information dint announced by the company still now. Harley-Davidson Street 500 may cost price of Rs. 4 lakhs or less in India while the Street 750 may be priced at Rs. 5 lakhs or less. For Harley-Davidson this is the first new motorcycle platform developed them in the past 13 years. This two models will be the lowest priced models from Harley-Davidson. Up to now the lowest priced model from the company is Superlow for Rs. 5.60 lakhs.
Style Features and Dimensions
From external both the new two bikes looks almost similar by maintaining the Harley-Davidson tradition and design. The dark custom styling is really appealing. Styling points of this bike includes LED tail lights,mini bullet turn signals , all-black 2 into 1 exhaust,chrome accents, steel frame, lock-to-lock sweep and mid mount controls etc.
When It will Be in Showrooms?
Till now the Superlow is having the smallest displacement capacity in Harley-Davidson series, with the introduction of these two bikes with displacement capacities of 500cc and 750cc, these will replace that position of Superlow. The Bike may be avialble in showrooms by next year middle for Harley-Davidson fans.
