First, you need to log on the website with the given address https://cbec.nsdl.com/EST/InputPageForEPaymentServlet. Then enter your 15 Digit Assessee Code (Service Tax Registration Number), which is granted by the department. Then, you need to enter the Image characters in the Verification Tab.

After that, you will get the details about you such as name, address, city etc. The type of tax you need to pay will be automatically selected. Click on the selected Accounting Codes for Service Tax option.

Then you will see a new window like below. There you can select the service on which Tax is to be paid.

Next, you can select both mentioned Education Cess in the 2nd table.

After this, you have to select the name of the your Bank and click the proceed option.

tax5 Then you can see your Bank Login Page. You have to submit the details of Service Tax Payable and Cess By adding your Bank Login details. Then you will get a printable acknowledgement, which suggest that your Challan Identification Number would be generated. The Challan Counterfoil will display the details of payment and also the Bank name. This is considered as a proof of payment being made. This Challan Identification Number is necessary at the time filing of Service Tax Return.
