Kannur University CAP (Centralized Allotment Process) 2016 – 2017 Admission
Kannur University invited online application to UG programmes in the academic year 2016 – 2017. You can visit the official website “http://www.cap.kannuruniversity.ac.in/index.php” and apply online for your preferred course.
CAP (Centralized Allotment Process) Registration
For online registration, you have to first Visit the home page of kannur university by typing the address “http://www.cap.kannuruniversity.ac.in/index.php”. The home page you can see as below and from there click on “CAP Register Here” option.
Now you are redirected to a new page, where you have to enter following details (Name/gender/date of birth/ email ID/fee category/registration fee amount) as seen in screen shot and click on submit button.
Now you will get an application number and password. By default, Password should be your date of birth(dd/mm/yyyy). Please note this for future use and click on “Click Here” to continue with registration process. You can also login from Home page by entering the password and username to the given space as seen in screenshot below.
Before entering details read all the instructions given carefully. Registration process includes 8 steps.
Step 1 – Candidate Profile registration
This includes filling your personal details, reservation details, special weightage details and miscellaneous details. After completing, click on Save and continue button.
Step 2 – Academic Profile registration
Here you have to enter details like exams passed, marks in each subjects, year of passing, register number etc. After completing, click on Save and continue button.
Step 3 – Download Chalan
You can now click on “download chalan” button to get the chalan for registration fee payment. Take a print out of this and pay the amount. Only after the payment in any of the SBT branch, you can continue with the online registration.
Step 4 – Registration Fee Remittance Details
Login using the same password and application number to enter in step 4. You have to enter details like SBT Branch name, Date of remittance, Amount and journal number in the box and click on proceed.
Step 5 – Upload Photo and Signature
Now you have to upload your Photo and signature to CAP website in the prescribed format and size.

- Kannur University CAP 2016 Signature size: 150px X 60px, format: .jpg, Total size: 40KB
Once you finished, click on Continue button.
Step 6 – Add your options
Here you can select the course and college of your preference. After completing, click on ” preview and verify application” button.
Step 7 and 8 – Verification of Application form for various first Degree programmes
If required, you can edit given details and add correct information by clicking on “Edit option”. You must Read the application form carefully and if everything ok check the inbox against the declaration. Now get a printout of the completed application form for submitting to the college. You can see ” print completed applications” button on the top of page for this purpose.
