Maruti Super Carry is the Maruti’s first ever LCV in recent times. The LCV comes in two colours – Superior White and Superior Silver. The Super Carry is specially designed and developed based on detailed research and understanding of requirements. This is a perfect combination of power and strength along with carrying capacity.
Maruti Super Carry is powered by the efficient 793cc twin-cylinder diesel engine. This is the same used in Celerio. The engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission for smooth riding experience. The engine capable of producing 32bhp of power at 3500rpm and maximum torque of 75Nm of torque at 2000rpm on ride. ARAI certified fuel efficiency of Maruti Super Carry is 22.07 km/l.
It can also reach top speed of 80 km/h. The Super Carry LCV features a large loading bay of 3.25 sq.mt. This supports payload capacity of 740 kg. The ground clearance of the vehicle is 175mm. Suspension used in this vehicle is MacPherson struts at the front and a rigid axle with leaf springs at the rear.
There is wheelbase of 2110mm and 4.3 metres turning radius which is similar to that of a hatchback. The basic features available in this LCV includes light steering wheel, multi-purpose storage spaces, multi-purpose storage spaces, mobile charging socket, dual assist grip and bottle holders. There is no air-conditioner.
The vehicle gets 14-inch wheels and Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) braking system. This assures high class stability during braking. There is front disc and rear drum brakes.
