Company have a trend of launching cosmetically enhanced version of its models specially during the festive season. Their latest launch was the Swift Deca limited edition last month. Now the MS Dhoni inspired special editions of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and the Alto K10 launched in India. Both these special edition models introduced in association with the upcoming movie ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto MS Dhoni inspired special edition comes in LXi trim for the Alto 800. While the Alto K10 available in the LXi as well as VXi trims. Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 LXi is the base model Maruti Suzuki Alto powered by the K10B 998cc petrol engine. The engine can churns out 67 bhp @ 6200 RPM power output and 90 Nm @ 3500 RPM torque on ride. Engine mated with the 5 manual gears transmission. The offered mileage is 20.2 kmpl on ride.
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 powered by 796cc, 3 Cylinder, 12-valves petrol engine. The power produced is 47.5 Bhp @ 6000 rpm and torque of 69 Nm @ 3500 rpm on ride to the wheels. Engine is mated with 5 manual gears. While comparing with the regular Alto versions, the Maruti Suzuki Alto special editions packed with features like MS Dhoni signature decal, body graphics, seat covers with the number ‘7’.
There is also options and features like 1-Din audio system with MP3, USB and AUX compatibility, gear boot cover, steering wheel cover, spoiler, door sill guard and ambient interior lighting. You can purchase the Alto 800 LXi special edition for Rs 3.36 lakh. This costs Rs 16,777 more than the regular Alto 800 LXi version. While the Alto K10 LXi special edition costs Rs 3.54 lakh and the K10 VXi special edition costs Rs 3.71 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Alto K10 special editions priced Rs 12,777 more than the regular versions.
