Mercedes-Benz GLC has just launched in India. This is the luxury compact SUV which cost Rs 50.7 lakh in India, ex-showroom Pune. This is the all new model from Mercedes-Benz competing against the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 in the market.
According to company Mercedes-Benz GLC will replace the GLK model in the international markets. The car powered by an efficient 2-litre petrol engine. This makes 245bhp power and 370 Nm of peak torque on ride.
There is also a diesel engine which is capable of making 170 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are mated to a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission for smooth ride. The petrol variant is called the GLC 300 while the diesel is called GLC 220d.
Benz GLC diesel variant can reach 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds. This model can reach top speed of 210 kmph. While the GLC 300 (petrol) variant is more powerful and reaches 0-100 kmph in just 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 222 kmph. Interior get leather clad dash and cabin with large infotainment panel.
