Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Gets Fingerprint Support

The all new upcoming Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Gets Fingerprint Supporting technology. The Windows 10 operating system supports fingerprint unlock is a new feature for these range of phones. Besides this option there is Windows Hello and face and iris unlock. 

Microsoft has just officially announced they are ready to launch devices which support fingerprint scanners for Windows 10 Mobile. The new technology will be available with the Windows 10 Mobile  Anniversary Update later this summer.

For this purpose, Microsoft will use universal driver platform  and driver built for x86 desktop can be recompiled to work on ARM. There is also some challenges with the creation of driver for all SKUs. Fingerprint scanners from FPC and Synaptics already using with Windows phone OEMs.

The first Windows 10 mobile device to  support the fingerprint sensor is the HP Elite X3. The phone gets Iris scanner too. HP Elite X3 comes with a 5.96 inches screen, Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo processor, 4 GB RAM and 16 MP camera.
