Motorola Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sport Edition – 2nd generation Announced

Motorola just announced the much awaited 2nd generation Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sport Edition smart watches at IFA 2015. This is the  successor of the original Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch. Both these announced at IFA Berlin 2015.

The all new Motorola Moto 360 available in  two different sizes for men and one special variant available only for women. Another new edition of the new Moto 360 named Moto 360 Sport. New Motorola Moto 360 for men comes with a smaller 42mm body, 1.37-inch (360×225 pixels)display and 263ppi respectively. 

Another 46mm body equipped new Motorola Moto 360 for men available with 1.56-inch (360×230 pixels) display and 233ppi resolution. Both these models compact with minimalistic bezels and powered by a 300mAh battery (in 42mm).

46mm model powered by a 400mAh battery. Both these Android Wear smartwatches are 11.5mm tall, this is same as last year’s Moto 360. Company used a powerful dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor for good performance. 

There is also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage to keep data. The all new Moto 360 is well protected as it packed with IP67 water-resistant. List of options and features available includes dual-microphones, wireless charging, a heart rate sensor, and an ambient light sensor.

Connectivity options includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There is no NFC. Moto 360 Sport Edition is a good option, aimed at fitness enthusiasts. There is a special AnyLight hybrid display’ to  to offer better sunlight legibility. This model also has a waterproof silicon body. There is also a heart rate sensor, built-in GPS etc.
