NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 Launched with 8-inch Full HD display at $199

NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 has finally Launched with improved features and options. This tab gets 8-inch Full HD display and Tegra K1 SoC as top end specifications. This is the well updated version of the tablet. Earlier NVIDIA introduced SHIELD tablet (last year) starting at $299 price. New model supports minor changes that includes, silicon grips and a new battery. 

NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 comes with a large and beautiful 8-inch (1920×1200 pixels) multi-touch IPS display for viewing all the contents in a good manner. This is powered by an efficient 2.2 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor for high end performance. Enjoy with 192 core Kepler GPU. 


NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 supports 2GB RAM. You can store all data in its 16GB of internal storage. Memory of the device can be more expandable with the MicroSD storage slot. NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 runs on latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS which is Upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). 

NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 gets 5MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options available includes Wi-Fi 802.11n 2×2 Mimo (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS / GLONASS, Mini-HDMI output, 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, Front facing stereo speakers, dual bass reflex port etc. 


There is also 9-axis (G-sensor, compass, gyro) motion sensors. NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 measures Dimensions of 221 x 126 x 9.2mm and Weighs 390g. It gets 19.75 Watt Hour battery. The NVIDIA SHIELD tablet K1 is priced at $199 (Rs. 13130 approx.) or £149.99 (Rs. 15050 approx.).
