Reliance Jio pre-booking suspended on high demand
Reliance Jio suspended its pre-booking of newly introduced 4G VOLT featured phone through its official website, leaving a statement saying that “Millions have pre-booked the JioPhone. We will inform you when pre-booking resumes.” and also they are saying that the reason for the sudden pause is due to its ‘Overwhelming Responses’.
The Jio phone booking proceeded until 5:30 pm, Thursday on high demand. The website crashed after some time and caused inconvenience for many people to access the website. Although the firm didn’t gave any information about when the pre-booking will be starting again. The customers can register their details in it’s website using “register now” link.
To book Jio phones there are three options available. These are via Jio.com website, the MyJio app and authorized offline Jio retailers. Literally, the jio phone costs zero, but to purchase this, you will have to give a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1500/-. In this amount Rs. 500/- for booking and the remaining Rs. 1000/- will be paid during delivery of phone. Delivery of Jio phones will be according to the first come, first serve rule.
The features of the 4G VOLT Jio phone are 2.4-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage with a battery capacity of 2000mAh. Operating system used is KAI OS. It also provides Wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS support.
