Renault Showcased the Lodgy Stepway model recently at an event in Mumbai. Earlier company unveiled the India-spec Lodgy MPV. This is actually a a “Cross” version of the standard car. Additionally there is cladding on the sides and gets satin-chrome skid plates on the front and the rear.
Technically all others are same as the standard India-spec Lodgy. It features massively long 2,810mm wheelbase. This features makes the vehicle ideal for freeing up interior space in an MPV. The India-spec Lodgy features new chrome grille and a restyled chin and updated tail-lights.
The interior gets rich features and options like the instrument cluster, infotainment system, control stalks, gear lever, steering wheel and air-con switches. Powering the MPV is a 1.5-litre dCI K9K motor that powers the Duster, makes 108bhp and 85bhp outputs.
Main highlight of the vehicle is its – space. You have lots of useable space on offer in the second and the third row too. The MPV designed in a way to assure the comfort and safety of passengers. There is also decent amount of boot space available. It competes with the likeness of Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio as well as the popular Toyota Innova.
