1. SRM University- College of Engineering, Chennai

SRM University- College of Engineering is known as one of the top ranking universities in India, which was established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras. They have a Career Development center, which offers training and career guidance to the students. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as well as approved by the University Grants Commission. They were ranked 43rd among ‘Top 100 Universities in India’ by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2016. 2. Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore

Vellore Institute of Technology was set up in 1984, as Vellore Engineering College, by G. Viswanathan. It was earlier known as Vellore Engineering College. They offer  one of the best professional educations in the country. There are 19 Undergraduate, 34 Postgraduate, 2 Integrated and 4 Research Programs. It was affiliated with Madras University and NAAC has re-accredited VIT University with an ‘A’ grade. 3. Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore

Amrita School of Engineering was formed on 27 October 1994. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). They provide B. Tech., M.Tech., PhD programs in different disciplines. There is an excellent faculty- student ratio. The laboratories are well equipped with software tools and modern equipment. 4. PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore

PSG College of Technology is considered as an autonomous, government aided, private engineering college, which is affiliated to Anna University as well as PSG and Sons Charities Trust. The college is approved by AICTE. PSG College of Technology was formed in 1951 by Dr.G.R.Damodaran. They offer  latest facilities and an excellent infrastructure. They provide 48 full time and part time courses in Engineering, Science and Management at UG & PG levels.

5. Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai

Madras Institute of Technology is an engineering institute, which was founded in 1949 by C. Rajam and is located in Chromepet, Chennai (Madras), India. This college is considered as one of the four autonomous constituent colleges (University Departments) of Anna University. Their course includes undergraduate and postgraduate programs for Production Engineering, Rubber and Plastics Technology, Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology. They also provide a broad-based education as well as coupled with practice-oriented training. 6. Government college of Technology, Coimbatore

Government college of Technology is known as an autonomous state-funded engineering college, which is affiliated to Anna University and was founded in 1945. They offer B.E, course in various disciplines such as Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & communication engineering etc. They also offer B. Tech course in Information Technology. Coimbatore Institute of Technology is a well known government-aided autonomous engineering college, which was set up in 1956 by V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust. Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is generally known as SSN, which was formed in 1996 by Shiv Nadar. The National Board of Accreditation gives an ISO 9001:2000 certification to this college. The college is located in Okkiyam Thuraipakkam, Chennai. The college is affiliated to Anna University and recognized as ‘Research Centre’. 10. Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Kumaracoil

Noorul Islam College of Engineering, is the earlier name of Noorul Islam University. The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by Govt. of Tamil Nadu. It is formed in 1989 by Dr.A.P. Majeed Khan. This is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute. There is a qualified and dedicated faculty. This university is accredited by NAAC with “A” Grade. Their offer B.E/B.
