Agra Fort is built by Akbar, the Mughal emperor from the inspiration and ideasof rulers like Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan, Diwan-i-Khass. Agra Fort consists of four gates from which Delhi gate is considered as famous one. The entrance to Agra fort is through Amar Singh Gate which leads way to the courtyard.

During the rein,  Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son in this fort where Shah Jahan spend his last days in Musamman Burj. Musamman Burj is a beautiful tower with open surroundings allowing the cool air breeze from Yamuna river flows in side the Burj. Burj gives an exotic view of Taj Mahal.

Aurangazeb was imprisoned in this fort & was murdered by Murad(Autrangazeb’s brother). Juhar Kund in Gwalior fort is a place where women burnt themselves after the defeat of rulers of Gwalior. Amber Fort is located in Rajasthan blended with Hindu and Muslim architecture. Raja Man Singh built this fort and the Fort was constructed with red sandstone & white marbles. Palace of mirrors (Sheesh Mahal) is the major attraction as the walls of this palace is fully decorated with mirrors. Jas Mandir on the top floor is blends  Mughal & Rajput architectue.

Amber fort’s main entrance is through Dil-e-Aaram garden which depicts traditional Mughal style architecture. There is a small Kali temple on the right side of the fort.
