    3. front and rare suspension system are poor performing. my moped front suspensions oil leak when i drive my moped only 6000 km
    4. at night if i press horn , head light not lighten brightly.
    5. less expart servicemen and less equipt service station not fullfill expectation of buyer

    Dear Nideesh,
I have a 2000 model TVS XL Super. It has clocked over 40000km. I need to change the kicker assembly. I’m having a worn out knurling. Apart from this, the vehicle seems to lose power when riding steadily at 40kmph. I’m having to give full throttle, sometimes a little choke, to get a smooth running feeling. Recently I’ve limited trips to less than 3km as the vehicle is getting more and more unreliable. Is it worth to invest in an engine overhaul? Are spares available?

      1. check air leak thru carb and reed valve manifold ,replace plastic bush tighten the carb clamp. 2 check main jet and pilot jet. 3 check air fiter housing screws ,filter element, clamp and replace if necessary. After 40000 kms decarbonizing and rings / piston replacement may be needed if excess carbon deposit found on the cyl head.
