WhatsApp is Testing ‘Delete for Everyone’ Option on Android and iOS

WhatsApp is in the last stage of testing  the new feature called ‘Delete for Everyone’ on Android and iOS phones. This feature is used to quickly delete messages before the receiver reads them.

According to WhatsApp serial tipster WABetaInfo, the server is finally working and it can successfully recall the message. But the feature is not currently enabled.  Testing of this new feature is progressing and it will remotely active for every WhatsApp users soon.

Using this feature, it will allow users to delete the message that was sent by accidentally and it will work with all types of messages like GIFs, videos, texts, documents and more. Only messages sent within 5 minutes of time frame can only be deleted.

The deleted messages will be shown as “This message was deleted”. Also it specify that only messages that are unread by the receiver can be recalled or deleted.
