Yamaha motors India launched their updated and refreshed model Yamaha R15 New Version 2.0 to the markets. This bike also known as Yamaha YZF R15 Version 2.0. The new version differ by extra color options and some minor changes. The thundering green, racing blue, standard raring red and invincible black are the new color choices.

The increased popularity of the bike is the reason for Yamaha to launch new versions. The company also launched the Yamaha R15 limited edition and 50th anniversary edition bikes. Look, Style and Dimensions

2013 Yamaha R15 New Version 2.0 came with lot of changes. The rear tyre size increased to 130/70. Other changes includes split seats, new tail, triangular LED tail lamp, neat and stylish number plate and indicator bracket.

It is also fitted with aluminium swing arm, 5 spoke alloy wheels, dark fairing visor etc adding to its aggressiveness. It measures 1970.00 mm x 670.00 mm x 1070.00 mm(length x width x height) and grund clearance of 160mm.

Yamaha R15 New Version 2.0 powered by a 149.8cc, 4-stroke engine that can produce power output of 16.8 Bhp at 8500 rpm and torque of 15 Nm at 7500 rpm. 149.8cc is the displacement of this bike.

The engine mated with 6 manual gears gives you best power and performance. The bike can reach 100km/hour in 13 seconds. The performance is really awesome and it need to compete with Bajaj Pulsar 220 and Honda CBR 250R which has the almost same power.

Yamaha R15 New Version 2.0 can return you a mileage of 42kmpl in highway and 32kmpl in city.

Safety and Comfort on Ride

Increased wheelbase and large fatty tyres of the bike offers good grip and safe ride. Both in front and rear the bike fitted with disc brakes. Telescopic suspension applied in front and Linked type Mono cross used in rear. The seats are wide and comfortable to sit and ride. Fuel gauge and trip meter is digital type. wheel size of 90/80 R17, 130/70 R17 mm is really good. The new version have refreshed  saree guard and mudguard.

  1. hey m buyng dt 1 at ma brthday nxt mnth is it ll b suitable for local roads or milage kitna de deti hai jo bhai isko use kar rahe hai

  2. This bike looks better and as well as handling….but its too worse in mileage (22 kmpl). I know the class of this bike and it is 150cc offering low mileage, it is awkward. So many issues as well

  3. Dis is and awsum bike but I think sooo bike petrol tank is so small make it of 16ltrs sure bike will look more cool.. But any how I am by dis bike by jan I love r15 to drive and its cool bike most I loved then seat still …
