Bajaj Pulsar RS200 : Review 2018
The much awaited Bajaj Pulsar RS200 launched in India for Rs 1.18 lakh. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is said to be the fastest pulsar yet launched in India. This is the fully-faired version of the Pulsar 200NS in India, which is named as RS200. You can choose from ABS and non ABS version. Non-ABS version available at Rs 1.18 lakh and Rs 1.30 lakh for the ABS version, ex-showroom, Delhi.
On external the bike is Sharp-nosed and aggressive with twin projector headlights staring out in front, with LED pilot lamps. There are also availability of stickier MRF tyres on offer as well. You can see smartly contoured split seats, and a stubby, cropped exhaust. You can choose from yellow and red with black color options. There is clip-on handlebars offered as standard.
Engine, Power and Performance
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 powered by the powered by the same 199cc engine from the NS200. This is the 199.5 cc Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, Triple Spark engine. Engine can churns out 24.2bhp at 9,750rpm, with maximum torque of 1.9kgm produced at 8,000rpm on ride.
It features liquid cooling and fuel injection technology. Engine of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission for a smooth ride. The bike OS performance assured and can reach top speed of 141kmph.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is fuel efficient also and this can returns you nearly 54kmpl on ride if ridden at 58kmph according to Bajaj.
Brakes, Suspension and Features
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets options and facilities includes:- service due indicator, projector headlamps, light weight LED tail lamps etc. You have excellent safety and comfort features. Suspension used in this bike is telescopic forks in the front, and Nitrox monoshock setup at the rear for a highly stable ride. Brakes fixed in this bike is a 300mm disc at the front coupled with ABS. You can choose a non ABS version also.
With the launch, company said it plans to sell 2,500 units per month of Pulsar RS 200. This is the This is the first bike having Rs 1,00,000 plus price tag from the company. The bike positioned the RS200 as more of a useable sportsbike for urban India.
