Yamaha YZF R15 is a powerful rival to this bike. The new version coming with aluminium swing arm, 5 spoke alloy wheels, dark fairing visor etc adding to its aggressiveness. It measures 1970.00 mm x 670.00 mm x 1070.00 mm(length x width x height) and grund clearance of 160mm.

Engine, Mileage and Performance

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 powered by the  powered by the same 199cc engine from the NS200. This is the 199.5 cc Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, Triple Spark engine. Engine can churns out  24.2bhp at 9,750rpm, with maximum torque of 1.9kgm produced at 8,000rpm on ride. 

Engine of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission for a smooth ride. The bike OS performance assured and can reach top speed of 141kmph. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is fuel efficient also and this can returns you nearly 54kmpl on ride if ridden at 58kmph according to Bajaj.

Yamaha R15 New Version 2.0 powered by a 149.8cc, 4-stroke engine that can produce power output of 16.8 Bhp at 8500 rpm and torque of 15 Nm at 7500 rpm. 149.8cc is the displacement of this bike. The engine mated with 6 manual gears gives you best power and performance. The bike can reach 100km/hour in 13 seconds. The bike return you a mileage of 42kmpl in highway and 32kmpl in city. 

Brakes, Suspension and Other Features

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets options and facilities includes:- service due indicator, projector headlamps, light weight LED tail lamps etc. You have excellent safety and comfort features. Suspension used in this bike is telescopic forks in the front, and Nitrox monoshock setup at the rear for a highly stable ride. Brakes fixed in this bike is a 300mm disc at the front coupled with ABS. You can choose a non ABS version also.

The Yamaha R15 have Increased wheelbase and large fatty tyres of the bike offers good grip and safe ride. Both in front and rear the bike fitted with disc brakes. Telescopic suspension applied in front and Linked type Monocross used in rear.The seats are wide and comfortable to sit and ride. Fuel gauge and trip meter is digital type. wheel size of 90/80 R17, 130/70 R17 mm is really good. The new version have refreshed  saree guard and mudguard.
