Bajaj unveiled the Pulsar SS 400 in 2014 auto expo. The Bajaj Pulsar SS 400 is a big surprise from the company without any prior details leaking. The expected product from company was the faired version of the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. The bike powered by a larger 375cc engine. The SS in the name stands for “super sports”.
Look, Style and Dimensions
The Bajaj Pulsar SS 400 bike looks more aggressive than the previous versions. The added styling facts are Front fairing, large headlamps, faux air intake ahead of the large tank, split seat, flashy tail lamp mounted on rear mudguard, raised clip on handle bars etc. The bike also fitted with unique digital speedometer and and gear indicator. This faired version, Pulsar SS 400 runs on Metzeler Tyres.

The company didn’t unveiled anything about the engine performance and mileage, We assume that engine fitted in SS400 is a 400 cc version of the exciting KTM Duke’s 390′s engine. The 373.2cc, Single Cylinder engine mated with 6 Speed gears transmission. The engine features 373.2cc Displacement and churns out 44 Bhp @ 9500 rpm power and 35 Nm @ 7250 rpm torque on ride. The engine also supported with the Bajaj’s triple spark technology for more powerful performance.

For ensuring the high stable performance on ride he Bajaj Pulsar SS400 equipped with Inverted telescopic suspension in front and at rear Monoshock suspension used. Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 was another much awaiting model in India. This is launched and priced Rs 1,57,809 (Ex-showroom). Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by an efficient 373.3cc single-cylinder DTS-i Engine. It makes 34.5bhp @ 8000rpm power and 35Nm @ 8500rpm torque on ride. The engine provides 27 kmpl mileage on ride.
Engine is mated to 6-speed with Slipper Clutch. 148 kmph is the top speed of this bike. There is ABS for best class safety and stability. The name derived from the Spanish word ‘Dominar’. It means ‘to excel or exceed in power’. The bike competes with famous bike like Mahindra Mojo, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CBR250R.
