Common Admission Test (CAT- IIM) Admission Process

Admission Scenario

In the admission process Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion, and Personal Interviews, Performance are conducted in CAT 2012 examination. It may include past performance of the candidate, work experience and other similar activities in various admission process. In such process cut-offs, weightage, evaluating parameters may differ to various IIM’s. Special website for IIM can help you to know about admission policies.

CAT Result And Short-Listing Of Candidates

The results are being announced on the CAT website. The shortlisted candidates will be availed from the site of IIM. IIM will send interview letters to shortlisted candidates. For getting further information on Admission process please visit in our website of IIM.

Eligibility Verification

The following eligibility  verification is to be fulfilled by the candidates who are short listed for interviews

Mark list and Degree certificates

The candidate should reveal original mark lists and also submit attested copies. If the candidate gets selected he/she must show original degree certificates of all semester at the time of joining the Program.

Reservation Requirements

The shortlisted candidate either SC, St, NC-OBC and DA candidates must represent original caste/class/disability certificate and also the photocopy at interview timings. Original certificates must be got at the time of joining

Candidates of Final Year Graduates

A shortlisted candidate appearing for the exams must show original certificate from Principal/Registrar/Director of the university/institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent  (45% in case of the candidates belonging to SC, ST, and DA category) based on latest available grades/marks.

Also an attested copy must be submitted along with the original certificate at interview timings. Such candidates will be admitted provisionally after submitting certificate from Principal/Registrar stating all requirements. The candidate must attain at least 50% marks along with the attested copies and qualifying degree certificate on before final due date.
