Steps to link your PAN Card with Aadhaar Card

Method 1 

  • Just go to

  • Avoid spelling mistakes and submit
  • After verification from UIDAI, the linking will be confirmed. There is no need to login or be registered on E-filing website.
  • This facility can be used by anyone to link their Aadhaar with PAN.

Method 2 

  • Just go to
  • You need to Register on the Income tax e-Filing portal. 
  • Then Log in to the e-Filing portal of the Income Tax Department. For this you have to enter the log-in ID, password and date of birth ( also feed in a code)
  • Go to Profile setting and choose the “Link Adhaar” button


  • Enter details like name, date of birth and gender and Verify with your Aadhaar card
  • In case of any minor mismatch in Aadhaar name provided, Aadhaar OTP will be required.
  • Please ensure that the date of birth and gender in PAN and Aadhaar are exactly same.
  • Enter your Aadhaar card number and Click on the “link now” button. 
  • A message will be sent as your Aadhaar card has been successfully linked to your PAN card
