The Company has an installed capacity of 93 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of grey cement, 18 integrated plants, 25 grinding units, 1 clinkerisation plant and 7 bulk terminals. It operates in India, UAE, Bahrain, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The white cement segment of UltraTech comes with a brand name Birla White and has a white cement plant capacity of 0.56 MTPA and 2 WallCare putty plants with a combined capacity of 0.8 MTPA.

ACC Limited (The Associated Cement Companies Limited) is a manufactures of cement in India, which is located on Maharishi Karve Road, Mumbai established in 1936. Ambuja Cement (Gujarat Ambuja Cement Limited) is the second largest cement manufacturer in the world and first in its continent. This major cement producing company in India has a cement capacity of 29.65 million tones with five integrated cement manufacturing plants and eight cement grinding units across the country.

The company has entered into a strategic partnership with Holcim, the second largest cement manufacturer in the world from 2006. Currently Holcim holds 61.62% of shares in Ambuja Cements.

4. Shree Cement


Shree Cement is the one of the most efficient and environment friendly companies that were founded in Beawar in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan in the year 1979 and now headquartered in Kolkata, India. Turnover of the company for 2013-14 was 58.58 billion (US$910 million) and Net profit was 7.872 billion (US$120 million).  It also produces and sells power under the name Shree Power (Captive Power Plant) and Shree Mega Power (Independent Power Plant).

5. India Cement


India Cements Limited is a cement manufacturing company in India and also a market leader in south India that was founded in the year 1946 by Shri S N N Sankaralinga Iyer and Sri T S Narayanaswami in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. The company set up its first plant in 1949 at Sankarnagar (Talaiyuthu).Now it has a total of 10 manufacturing plants and 57.94 billion turnovers.

The company has a capacity of 15.5 million tons per annum. India Cements owned the Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings from 2008 to 2014. 6. Birla Cement


Birla Corporation Limited is the Indian flagship company of the M.P. Birla Group was incorporated in 1919 as Birla Jute manufacturing company limited. The company was founded by Shri Ghanshyam Das Birla in the late 1910s and carried on by Madhav Prasad Birla. The Company had a turnover of Rs 3,768.42 crores in 2015-16 and a net profit of Rs 157.35 crores.

8.Prism Cement


Prism Cement Limited is India’s largest integrated building material company promoted by the Rajan Raheja Group. It operates one of the largest single kiln cement plants in the country at Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The Division also has a packing unit at Allahabad; Uttar Pradesh. The company currently produces 5.6 Million tons of cement per annum and has a market capital of 6,339.78 crore.

9. Ramco cement
