In 2010 it sold out CD s, DVDs, mobile phones and accessories, cameras, computers, computer accessories and peripherals, and in 2011, pens & stationery, other electronic items such as home appliances, kitchen appliances, personal care gadgets, health care products etc. In 2012 it further included A.C, air coolers, school supplies, office supplies, art supplies & life style products to its  portfolio. Flipkart employs over 4500 people.

Flipkart.com ranks #502 in world according to Alexa traffic rankings. In Google page it ranks #6. It form an advertising revenue of  $4.8 million. It receives 2.2 million page views in a day and generates $6,574 in advertising revenue everyday. Moreover it has certain losses 0.60% in traffic ranking. Loading time of an average page is 2.1 sec as it is much faster than 29% of sites around the world.     Snapdeal’s shipping service is WORST. If you are opting for cash on delivery, never purchase from snapdeal.com. They have collaborated with “delhivery” shipping company, which is slower than government work. I think snapdeal has to choose some better shipping service to preserve its reputation.
